Last week definitely was a good one! It started with the best thing imaginable – a U2 concert! We got the tickets last October, so the wait was way too long. But finally the day arrived and we enjoyed it a lot. We were joined by the winner of our U2-ticket-competition… but wait, hm, didn’t a guy win the ticket? This Blog is being written in a very sleepy and jet-lagged condition. Monday morning last week Nashville waved goodbye with a tear in her eye, tuesday Vienna greeted us with a sunny smile. Vienna is a nice place, eventhough other places are becoming more attractive too. Regensburg being one of them, hosted our concert on Saturday together with Pussies of Death, General Sherman and Colt. The occasion was the CD release of the Pussies, who didn’t so much release it, but shoot it into space with an imperial overdrive. continue reading »
On saturday afternoon we rented a very old, very crappy bus from a guy who we only know by the name of Brandon Jazz. Actually we don’t even know him, we just have his van. It’s a huge thing and i think it definitely wants to kill us. But it is cheaper than a rental car and we were in need of wheels, so it’s really quite alright. continue reading »
What’s better? A festival-gig in front of 10000 people who don’t know our music at all, or a smaller show for fans that drove 3 hours just to see us play? Both is kinda cool, but the second happend to us yesterday. We were really surprised and we felt honored. What topped the whole thing off was to see how people who didn’t know our music yet enjoyed the evening alot too. What more could you want as a musician? We played at the Exit/In in Nashville to find that the CCM star and double Grammy nominee Sarah Kelly was in the audience. She really enjoyed our music, so we videotaped her after the show. Here goes…
